House Manager 

We are looking for a friendly, reliable individual to act as a House Manager/Bartender for our Mainstage Productions and Special Events.​This position would manage Front of House volunteers, track inventory, and sell beer, wine, concessions and tickets. 

Position Summary

Fuse Theatre Ensemble is looking for a House Manager to help manage our front of house volunteers, work our concessions stand, and manage our concessions inventory. The ideal candidate would be hard working, friendly, detail oriented, and comfortable and happy to work within the Queer community, with a strong focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion. 

Job Duties:

  • Run concessions

  • Train volunteers on our ticketing system and how to check in and direct event guests 

  • Maintain the space

  • Keep an accurate account of inventory

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required:

  • Experience in customer service

  • Friendly and competent demeaner

  • Ability to manage your own time

  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities

  • Ability to communicate with clarity and kindness with people of all walks of life

  • Reliable transportation

Desires Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: 

  • Prior experience with non-profit theatres

  • Restaurant and bar experience

Schedule: The schedule will differ based on performances and availability of fellow employees, but will generally be Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons, with occasional Friday and Saturday evening shifts

Compensation: $17/hr + tips

Desired Start Date: Nov. 2023
